I CAN'T FIND MY NEW WHITE DRESS

Has anyone ever felt as if there are really borrowers living in their home?? I just bought a nice new white dress from Ann Taylor and I cannot find it now. I packed it with the rest of my summer stuff since it did not seem as if we were going to get any summer and now I want to wear it on Wednesday I cannot find it. I have torn the house apart looking for it. Does anyone have any suggestions.

If it were me...I'd find it either in it's original bag at the bottom of the closet or behind the bedroom door. Somehow, things move to different places - places I'd never think to look. Like in the drawer it's supposed to be in.

Good luck - I hate that feeling of not being able to find something you *know* should be there.

Thanks for allowing me to vent ladies, I have an award ceremony on wednesday and even tho' I might not be getting an award I want to look cute for the winners

Shamma, stop looking for it! Relax and think of something else, this way you will remember where you put it! Works for me everytime! This also works well: start looking for something else and you will find the dress instead!

Good point - start looking for something else and I bet you find it. BTW, you inspired me to go look for a white dress now!!! I looked at two that Ann Taylor had online. Now I want to go shopping! Maybe I can go to the Riverhead outlets this weekend if it's raining. (Woudln't go if it were sunny bc I'd be laying out in my bikini trying to get a tan to wear a white dress!!!)
