that is more a joke than people mispronouncing...'Tarjaay' makes it sound like an upscale store which is how the joke started...

lol... there is a talk show i listen to on the radio... ESPN... and the host takes calls. and when a caller says 'i wanna AX you a question'.... he hangs up on them

Yeah. me too. Definitely switch it up depending on what I'm referring too. Weird though- never realized I did that before!
