I cant take this anymore!!!!!!

My rsvp date is 5 days away and im still missing about 40 (80 ppl)..i dont know what to do...ive hinted..ive begged...i cant deal with this anymore...we have 70 people coming and our minimum is 110...i just dont know what to do at this point..it seems like no one gives a ****

I know it s*cks to hear this, but I would wait at least 3 or 4 days AFTER your date since most people will probably wait to send it out ON the date it's due back...
I but I totally hear you on how inconsiderate ppl can be - my own grandmother hasn't RSVP'd yet - what the H E L L is SHE waiting for!?

I hear you!!!! My RSVP date is 2 weeks away and I am still waiting to hear if 68 people are coming. Right now I have 52 people coming and that doesn't include FH & I. it makes me crazy that people are waiting for the last minute to RSVP FH has given me permission to go Bridezilla on people who haven't responded.

I am SO in the same boat! I just posted about this yesterday! My rsvp date is tomorrow and I get one a day if even! And for the past week it seems we've gotten nothing but 'no' - I'm sick over the stress of not making our headcount. I actually started text msg'ing our friends and asking them to pls stop holding my rsvp hostage - it seems to get the point across in a light manner. Otherwise, we're making a list for our parents so they can start calling ppl in the family and find out whats up.

My mom is having the same problem with my shower invite responses.... im convinced the mail is all screwed up.... i know people who live in the same house that sent out the response together and 1 we got 1 day and the other a week later and i am missing like 20 people.... i am ready to go postal on the post office !!!

Ohhhhh Believe me I totally know how you feel ... Wedding is 9/29 RSVP was 8/29 & still have like 20 people who have not RSVP

I have the same problem. I'm getting them 1by 1, so far I got 2 this week. It's crazy. My rsvp is 9/8, so I'm hoping I get them all back by then.

It's a simple yes or no. Thanksgoodness I have a lower minimum. We didn't have a huge list in the first place, so I'm freaking out.

Ive already had FMIL call people...Ive called texted, and email ppl..i dont get it.... i dont know what to do anymore..its like pulling teeth...i just dont know what to do..im sick inside

I had the same thing happen for my wedding. We had to call, text, email and people still couldn't RSVP on time lol Some people even had the nerve to ask if t hey could bring extra guests when we called them. Just tell the moms its their wedding duty to get ahold of the non-rsvpers!! :)
