At this point I could care less about the wedding and the glitz and glamour.. all I want it it to be married to my honey and everyone to gt the Fuk off my back. All im rally waitng for is 11/11 so that I can wake up next to my sweety away form everyone.. just be him and eventually our new family!

ETA: its not the wedding thats stressing me at all.. its the people i have to deal with. I kow the kindof person I am and I forgive but I dont foget... and im really starting to resent people more and more everyday. I see people posting about being sad about packing to move and all i can think about is... i cant wait to get the fuk outta here!!! Both sides of the family willbe lucky if we visit them every couple of weeks

I totally hear ya......I went through this like 2 weeks ago and I just broke down and was like I don't want to plan this anymore.....can it just BE HERE already!!
I mean I know as soon as it's over I'll look back on this post and laugh.....but for now I'd like June 9 to be here already and all this planning and running around to be over!

ur right its not like me at all.. but im really tiredof being everyones punching bag. I keep my mouth shut about everytthing just so that i dont make anyone mad. i try to include everyone in everything so that noone gets upset.. and still anything i do is not good enough and im stillthe punching bad. Im just tired of it... and its making me resent people more that appreciatethem. I dunno....i just need to deal withthis cr@p for another 9 moths... hopefully it will go by quick

I keep telling my FH that by the time wedding comes along, most brides just breathe a sigh of relief because they live, eat and breathe it for months and months.

oh gosh i feel the same here, i want to just get over it and get it done, all this drama from both families, i sometimes dont like people telling you (you should do this and that, and you have to do it this way , or dont do it at all, freaking gosh it our wedding and we have the final say on things, sometimes i wish i took fh word of eloping, that would have been so much better.

I'm with ya all the way, sista. I feel the same way, and I have only 10 days to go. When I first started planning my wedding, I was thrilled. But I found that as time went by, it became less and less my wedding, and more and more the party for everyone else. My stepmother's family is half the guest list (I don't even know/care about them) and my step sister's children (who I don't even know) are my flower girls. (I didn't want flower girls), and slowly.......the wedding became one of everyone else. I too am resentful. My best advice for you, since you still have plenty of time is to remember that this is YOUR WEDDING, and when people ask things of you.....you must stand your ground. Never underestimate the power of the word NO. I wish I had used it more myself.
