I came in and my AP is yelling to the teachers to step into the hallway. What she does not know is that most of the teachers are not here! ![]()
I only came because at the moment I don't live far from school, but by next winter we may be living in Putnam or upper Westchester. When that happens I am certainly not coming down to the Bronx in this weather.

michi, the main roads i'm sure are clear, but i work in queens and live in suffolk and my local district closed, so my commute would've been about 45 minutes just to get to the expressway...not worth it in my opinion. i talked to the woman i carpool with and she wasn't going either. i'm the kind who would go out of guilt but i don't have a great car for the snow. not to make excuses but i'm tired to being the really good employee who will do anything and everything (i've worked having pneumonia) , while everyone else feels no guilt calling in sick.
