I did my own trial

I did my own trial

I know that this is kind of a repost, but I just wanted some feedback on my look. This is my day-to-day look, but since i'm a simple girl, I think I want something this natural for the wedding as well. I used L'Oreal products.

What do you gals think?

IMO- you need to go darker on the eyes and more dramatic. You need eyeliner and a dramatic mascara. Also that lip color is not right for you. It does not mix with your skin tone at all. Its very very red in pics. I would reccomend you go to the makeup counter at the mall and ask them to help you match shades to your skintone. I like the blush you picked.

Sorry, that is JMO.

I like it except for the lip color, you are too pale for a dark color like that. But I think you did a decent job for someone who does not wear makeup/ I agree if you go to a makeup counter, they will help you pick better colors for your skin tone

Have to agree.
You have gorgeous eyes and should use makeup to accent them. The lipstick is way too orange for you, you would look great with a pink tone or maybe even a gloss instead of a lipstick.

It does not hurt to stop by a Dept. store makeup counter and let them work with you.

I think a natural look is the way to go if you don't normally wear make-up. I would go to any make-up counter in the mall and ask them to do your make up so you can see the colors that look good - - just make sure you tell them you want to look 'natural.' Make sure they will do it for free - some make you buy products (which you may want to do if you like the colors anyway).
I like the way you did your face - nice blush, etc. but the lipstick is too dark and orangy.

you have lips that women would kill for! Very plump and full!!! Thats why you need to go nice and subtle with them - by my screen name you can tell that I'm all about lips - a nice, sheer sexy gloss like Clinique's color surges would be nice, or a light MAC lip glass would be great!

The great thing about these glosses is even if you have ery little makeup, or none at all, it still makes you look 'done' - a good gloss pulls your whole face together, IMO!

BTW - did you change your screen name?

The skin tone is even and the blush is nice but the lip color is not right for your skin tone and your eyes are not dramatic enough. You should try an eyelash curler but thats just my personal preference because I'm all about the curly lashes. Also use a dark mascara, I still haven't been able to find one that doesn't clump. If you find one let me know. You should go to a store like sephora or a make-up counter and have them apply some eye make up (only if they do it for free). They should show you how to apply it and if you really like it buy it. But before you buy, try to look at the make-up on your face in natural light. Good luck!

As someone who doesn't wear a ton of makeup I can totally relate to the challenge of wedding day makeup. I think it would be great to go to the counters and see what they can do for you. I think you need more in eye area--even if its just with neutral shade shadow and curling your eyelashes/mascara. And I totally agree a gloss would look perfect on your lips! Just say you want something natural/neutra/clean/polished/light

I have to be honest here... i'm not liking the makeup choices. Now i wish i could give you tips here, but i know nothing about makeup so you're kind of out of luck. I understand that you don't wear makeup on a normal basis and neither do i, but it looks like the only thing you're wearing is some coverup and lipstick. I agree with some of the other posts that you should really do something with your eyes and try a different shade of lipstick.

*If i were you... i would get your makeup done by someone. I don't know if maybe you want to save money but not getting it done, but if you're like me... you're just guessing what you should do with the makeup. Leave it to the professionals and just make sure you find someone you're comfortable with who understands what you do and don't want.

You need a different lipstick color, that shade does not go well with your skintone. You also need to do a little more to your eyes. A little more Mascara and a darker eye shadow.

Try Mac Makeup, they have the best Lipgloss and eyeshadow.

Truthfully speaking I think you are totally on point

Definately not that lipstick...and IMO you should go a 'little' heavier on the entire look especially for pics and you want it to look just as good after 4 hours.... Good Luck
