Mom coming back after 8 years of being gone with little contact (and she was welcomed back pretty easily). If she's so broken up about the loss of one child, why would she turn her back on the other two?
And the icicle killer? I was fine with not having a nice neat 'we caught him' ending, but that was too hollywood for me. Didn't seem realistic at all. Just before he kills another, he gets killed by an icicle? I think it would have been better if his next victim got the best of him.

I didnt like the ending either, i wanted to see him caught i think,,, and i wish they would have found her body..

I'm with you Suzanne! I thought they were going to find her bones.... hence the name of the book... I guess I just didn't get it...
I also would've liked to see that ba$tard get caught!

I was definately disappointed in the ending. I thought the author ran out of steam and just sort of tied it up in a neat little happy ending package. The perfect murder weapon killing the villian and Mommys home everyone be happy. Whats that about.
