i don't get it!

i know that this has been posted several things, but..

i went to a wedding in philly this past weekend and at least 3 guests were wearing white. why?! i find it to be so rude. white is for the bride ONLY!

You should have went up to them and asked them, why are you wearing white you doofus??

People are so rude!! End. Of. Story.

ha, i was tempted!

i told my fiance that if anyone wears white to our wedding, he needs to ask them to leave

a good friend of mine wore a off white dress and i was surprised but honestly not bothered by it. She is one of the sweetest people i know and she never would have meant harm by it.

It surprises me but I really think some people just don't know.

I know some girls would be more offended than others so I'd always play it safe tho! I didn't even wear a pale pink dress to a wedding once

i had a girl (from philly) wearing white at my wedding - i was aggravated..... plus the outfit was so inappropriate to wear to a formal wedding.. it was a oooober tight white teeshirt with the shortest khaki colored skirt

i dont get it either!!

when i was shopping for a drress for my cousins wedding i found the most amazing dress but the top was white and the bottom was navy blue... i STILL didnt even consider it because there was too much white on the top... so i wouldnt even do that, let alone a full on white dress??

I absolutely agree! It's one thing if it is a dress with a multicolored pattern where there are a few little places of white accents... but if 'white' would be a word you would use when describing the dress to someone, then it is a no-go for a wedding!

Please....my biatch fmil asked fh if she can wear a white dress to our wedding!!! He told her no so she threw a hissy fit and then asked me when I came over one day! Tried to say that it had silver beading in it so it wouldn't be that bad.

Umm we both told her no and fh got pissed and yelled at her. Can you believe the mother of the groom wanted to wear white!! People are very inconsiderate

Omg I just posted this about my fmil...I didn't even see your post till just now!

I was at a Macy's and one of the girls in the dressing room was asking a sales associate how bad is it to wear white to someone's wedding, I came out of my room, saw her dressed completely in white and said 'I wouldn't wear that if I were you, unless you want a pretty pissed off bride.' She kept asking 'Is it really that bad if I wear white?' So yeah, some people really don't know any better.
