The witnesses that sign your marriage license... Do they have to be a certain age?

I would assume at least 18? But maybe I'm wrong... *NM*

I think 18

only b/c anything signed by someone under 18 can be voided.

because my 14 year old cousin is my Man of Honor. I wasn't sure if he could sign the certificate. Thanks!

My FH & I want to have our son be bestman (he'll be 22 months) We have yet to discuss this with our priest but we think we can have someone 'of age' as a witness but our son be the one on the alter. Melissa I'll keep you posted!

Hi! One the books there is no official age requirement for your witness. But it should be some one who can testify in court that they saw you get married. :)
