I don't know if we have any Type O Negative fans in the house...

FH and I just found out that Peter Steele passed away last night.

I'm pretty shaken up right now. This is a band who FH and I both LOVE and have seen in concert a bunch of times. Local boys from Brooklyn. They used to fkn take the subway home from headlining shows and throw crazy boozefests at bars in BK. Regular guys, playing extraordinary metal.

They say it's heart failure...I've been scouring the web for the past ten minutes trying to see if it's all a rumor because a few years back they actually made a rumor that he did die as a promotional stunt for an album...but I think it's for real this time.

This fcuking *****.

I'm sorry to let you know it's not a rumor. My friend is a DJ on a radio station in the Cape and he posted something about this on FB a couple of hours ago! I'm sorry you're so upset!

Thanks...I'm so fkn confused right now; their message board has NOTHING on it. No posts at all. I don't get it...much of their website has been disabled.....

I hope it's all another joke, but I have a feeling it's not.

I'm going to ask my friend to call her brother-in-law...he's in Anthrax and might have some info..
