I dont like New Years............

New Years Eve and the New Year always scares me. I go out to go out and forget its New years but to think its another weekend. Im scared for 2008, I dont know what it will bring to me

Who else dislikes NY?

it always does become a bit over-rated at times...i know there have been times i went all out and put so much into it...last year was good though and easy suprisingly...this year thats why im glad we're just going to a house party

BUT i am so looking forward to 2008...i had so much bad luck in 07 and things just happen so im hoping 08 will be different lol

im alittle worried about new years bc this is going to be a crazy year:

house being built
wedding stuff
fh starting a new job
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

as for new years night.. just a normal night that people make out to be mor ethan it is

I HATE new years. I think its the most depressing holiday, its overrated, and the song Auld Lang zine is enough to drive me into a rage. HATE it.

2007 was sooo good to me. I feel 2008 will bring me bad luck, heartache, dispair etc etc etc. I just want to go away, take a trip, crawl up in a hole

I find NYE to be overrated or a night for amatuers. Not to say I didn't have a lot of fun New Years Eves in the past. The last few years FH and I stayed in and cooked or ordered food and it was so nice and relaxing.

We will be doing the same this year.

Definately not a fan of New Years...I don't know why I just really never got into it...maybe I don't like it because a couple of years ago I fell down my stairs on New Years (completely sober!!)

I think Im going to go to AC for New Years , something diff

i HATE any holiday that you are supposed to go all out for
its so much pressure and it just means that actually going out is going to be THAT much more of a PITA

Its like this Friday FH and I are going to sit home and watch DVDs but if we did that on NYE we would be losers or something

plus its so dangerous i refuse to drive anywhere. . .

i am actually doing something fun this year though, going to a friend's house SO I am excited about that bc its fun and lowkey and I can walk home!

FH and I always said that our first NYE living together we would just stay home the two of us. . . so we may do that next year!

PS - i always cry when the ball drops too. . .

i do get sad reflecting on the year, but being around friends/family is what it's supposed to be about. it's a big deal since we don't get to be together too often.

08 is our year girls...it's going to be a good one!

I'm not a big fan of new years either too me its just another night & people tend to get even more drunk and obnoixous!!! This year I am babysitting so at least I will be making some extra money!

ITS FUNNY bc when my dad heard we were going to a house party he was like why dont you go out to a club in the city or something and i said I NEVER do clubs in the city on NYE, they are over-rated and its amateur night at the clubs on NYE...and fh said he was proud that i said that, like hes the only one who used to party

yeah it is too much pressure...the problem is that sometimes we put so much into it and it doesn't live up to our expectations.

I always feel like an idiot saying that but its true. If you would never go out on a random saturday night or even a random week night then why are you out on NYE? I used to be able to tolerate it but I don't have the patience anymore. Once we have a house we will have NYE parties.

i was just talking about doing this yesterday...my dad went last year to ac for NYE and fh kept saying how come we didn't go with him lol...my fh told my dad we should all go to AC this year, but my dad cant this year...fh wants to go with my dad bc fh loves to gamble and my dad is real big into gambling and so are his friends...i did mention to FH maybe we can go to AC but i think its such short notice now and every room is probably booked...my dad is a member at a couple of hotels there so he gets rooms for free, i guess i can try but i just know they're all booked
