I feel like throwing in the wedding towel.....

and starting my after wedding life..... ..... this wedding planning is not as exciting as it was before.

I am sooooo ready for it to be over with it.


Just wanted to get that off my chest.....

Don't even think about it

I was always told that wedding planning can be like an emotional roller coaster. You will have the excitement moments, the stressful ones, bored ones and then chaos. In the end we ALL know it is worth ever single emotion we go through.

Just today, I was thinking about calling it off.. and then I got over it.. it's just part of the mood swing we all go thru..

Thank you girls... it's just like I feel the wedding is holding us back....we are ready to get on with our lives - we have sooooo much that we want to do but we are to far into the wedding planning to back out now.

you know we have our days where we want it to be over with and just start your lives together already and not care about bathroom baskets or slipper baskets but enjoy it sweetie. When its all over with youll be looking back and smiling at what a beautiful wedding you will have

dont worry Cherise trust me there are days when i ....just like you said want to move on with my life after wedding.....but years from now you will be dissapointed.....all the hype is worth it! keep telling yourself that girl! you dont always have to be gung ho.......you know deep down whats real!!1

I think alot of that is going around lately. So much has been going on in our lives also and we might be calling the whole wedding off and do a small destination wedding or something. But I will agree wedding planning isn't fun. And to think I wanted to do this as a career someday. I have changed my mind about that.

Cherise, TOTALLY agree with this...

This is EXACTLY how both FH and I feel.

We wish it were the end of April already so we can work on starting our lives together, working on our careers (continuing to do so), and just achieving all the various goals we have!

and now we cannot do that, we need to worry about picking a florist, and listening to various family member's concerns, etc....

I can tell you from experience that we all go through this. We had a wedding to attend in Vegas a month before ours and you have no idea how many times I asked DH if we could just get married in Vegas while we're there and call it a day.

I was tired of saving, tired of not being able to go out and do things, tired of not being able to travel on a moment's notice. You feel like the wedding is holding you back from everything sometimes.

Don't worry, it will get better I PROMISE. I saw some of you 07 brides at the fundraiser, and my advice was don't stress it. You will drive yourself crazy over BS. You will crash and get sick of wedding stuff, and then you get within 3 months of the wedding, and all of a sudden it's full speed ahead.

I will see you girls in January....because I know that is when you will all start freaking out, and that counter will seem like it won't stop ticking then!!!

I agree - I feel like March is never going to get here!! People keep saying 'It goes so fast'...FH and I are still waiting for time to speed up! I just want to move in together and get on with life!

I get the same way,, Not that i would ever call it off, the $$$ aspect stresses me like there is no tmrw..

I basically work for free ,, LOL

Sometimes FH and I feel like that too....We just want to be married already and start our lives together...but everything in due time. Im sure ull get over this feeling and when your wedding gets closer ...u'll be glad that u planned ur fairytale wedding.

I know exactly how you feel! Just last weekend FH I were talking about forgetting all of this craziness and just get married on a cliff in Hawaii. He is the one that wants the big traditional party anyway.
I'm not crazy about spending what could be a down payment on a house for a 5 hour party either!

But I think in the end, this will give all of us enough wonderful memories that will help with a life time of struggles we will all eventually encounter.
