Well ladies, it has been over two months and 20 reception halls but I finally decided to have my wedding reception at Land's End in Sayville next year.
Thank you so much to all of the brides who offered their advice on all of my top choices. It was such a hard decision! Each place has something unique that I loved about it.
In the end, I think we all picked awesome places. I am so relieved that this is behind me.
Of course, now I only have eight months until my wedding and I really need to find a dress!
Are any of these decisions easy?

I say get a move on with the dresses, I ordered mine in June and it's not coming in until the holidays!!! Some dresses can take 10 months to a year to come in!! So some designers might be out of your time frame unless you put in a rush order!!! (I know Eve of Milady is one that takes a year)

I start looking for a dress asap... I went to RK Bridal in NYC.. they have tons of dress, by tons of designers.. and you dont need an appointment.. The girl who helped me was Amber, she was great!!
And No the decision do not get easier !!

Thanks girls. I know the clock is ticking on my dress choice. I started last weekend in NJ. Now I need to get cracking in Suffolk.

That's great, that was definetely a tough decision for us and by far one of the most important. I'm sure you are so excited! Congrats and now on to the rest of planning!!

That's wonderful!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!! That's a beautiful place, too expensive for us tho!!
In a way the decisions do get easier, as soon as you get the big stuff out of the way the lil stuff won't be so bad. Good luck with the dress search!!!

I am thinking of booking the following in this order: 1. Band/DJ 2. Flowers 3. Dress
then hotel, limo, etc.
What do you think?
