I forgot someone

I totally messed up! I forgot to invite one of my Fh's friends!
We went through the list and somehow they were just forgotten. This couple had gotten my FH his job!
When I had my shower, I really thought I invited her and she didn't show because she just had some minor surgery. I'm sitting here last night, going through the list and adding addresses to my address book and OMG! I freaking forgot to add them! My FH called him this morn, to apologize, and the guy said they thought they weren't invited due to budget. UGH! I feel like crap!
They totally understand, but FH and I feel so horrible.

oh crap, when did th invites go out? Things happen as long as you rectified it with them everythings is okay.

OMG the same thing happened to me - I was so embarrassed. Just let them know the mistake and I am sure they will understand.
