I might have missed somthing....what happened to the post office?

I would be very cautious about the temp to perm position. It doesn't sound like an opportunity you are really interested in, so I would go for the other interviews.

Be honest with the person who offered you the job. Tell him that you are a little hesitate about the job being temp and that you have another interview scheduled with another dept.

The problem is they want me to travel to their office which is in another state on monday and tuesday, and I don't want to go. They said worst comes to worst they will send someone out to train me, but they wanted me to come to the office to meet everyone. I am not good with travelling, especially alone....and I don't know how to explain this to them.

It was fine up until they told me I had to go there.....

I know what you mean about traveling to someplace you don't know and especially alone but with greater responsibility comes greater challenges and it kind of seems to me like they are expecting you to step up to the challenge. Where is it? Please dont say NJ. NYers never want to drive there lol - I swear to you its not as bad as you all think
