I'm OK though. I was going to see my new nephew and I was driving on the L.I.E. in stop & go traffic. While I was coming to a stop and Mercedes smashed into me at like 30 miles an hour.
Thank goodness for my Jeep Cherokee because the only damage I have is a dent in my trunk. The Mercedes crumpled like an accordian though
They shut the highway down for a minute to let us off the highway.
The man took full responsibility to the cop (how could he not?) so hopefully insurance will fix any damage to the back.
It scared the crap out of me though, didn;t even see him coming - just SMASH!

Yikes...that is pretty scary. Glad to hear that you are okay. I'm sure insurance will definitely cover the rest....but even so, as long as you are alright, that's all that matters....

That s*cks im sorry! Glad you are ok. And its good you didn't know he was coming. When you 'brace' yourself your muscles get tight and you body tenses its bad cause you don't move. This way you went with the force

thanks ladies. I'm doing OK, just stressed over my week. i quit smoking but I am determined to not light up no matter what happens - I sooo wanted one last night!
