i got married to my best friend this saturday!!!!!!! we are still doing a BIG wedding next july but since he left for afghanistan yesterday we wanted to be legally married before he left.

i am changing my name over to his so im looking for a list of all the things i'll need to change. im sure theres prob one on here, i just cant find it!

please help me so that when he comes home i'll be mrs.stolworthy on EVERYTHING!!!!!

Congratulations! Yes start with the Social Security office, but you will need either a certified copy or original of your marriage license before you can change your name.

My prayers are with your new husband for a safe, safe return. As most everyone here knows Peter was in Iraq for a year and is home safe (thank God) so I know how you are feeling right now.

Again I will keep him in my prayers.
