Well, I went to meet w/ Imagine! All I can say is AMAZING!!! Their photos are outstanding. And the video clips they showed made me cry! I am such a sap!!! John wasn't there so I have to discuss it all w/ him. But if it were all up to me I would of booked them on the spot! So hopefully I will be able to tell you soon that they are booked! Cross your fingers!!

Well John said if I really wanted to use them then I can. It is a bit $$ (not TO outlandish) but I'll have these photos & dvd forever. I woke up in the middle of the night stressing. And then I thought what if I didn't by everyone a favor & just do couples. That would cheapen it up a bit. The only bonus is I don't have to pay it all at once. And I'll have a least a month 1/2 to get their last payment. See the whole thing is even though it's 'our money' I haven't earned a paycheck in quite some time!!! And I think that is adding to my stress. My left over money that I saved is paying the bills. And we have a new account mainly saving for the wedding. So far we are doing excellent. I just don't want to jinx it!


Am I nuts??? Please I need some input!!!

You are probably more level headed and discioplined about this than most people. From what you've said, you are on top of things (and the budget). Imagine was more than we would have spent for a photographer, but if they were available on our date, we would have booked them.

Additionally, I think it would be fine to give a fovor per couple

Sit down now and have a nice cup of tea and imagine all the wonderful moments Imagine will capture!!

Tracy, your photos and DVD will last a lifetime, and be there for your son and other children to see and watch.

I visited w/Imagine, and yes they are expensive, but you also get what you pay for.
Imagine is excellent, and you wont be sorry.

I am very happy w/my decision of Cassarino, but they were also a bit pricy. In the end, when I look at my album, I'll know it was worth it. And you will too, so I say. . .. . GO FOR IT !!!!!

Have you seen other photographers? I only ask because for me I had to see quite a bit before making that decision. It helped me to be sure I was making the right choice. I picked someone who was not so 'fancy' just nice quality photos, but more affordable (my sensibility won out on this one!) Doing that, I was able to justify having the video! From what so many people tell me its the video you will look at most often over the years.
I felt I choose a 'happy medium'
From what I have heard imagine is fantastic and believe me I wish I could have been able to book them! and especially when I see reviews and pics.
Please do not stress! maybe they can hold your date for a bit? can you ask them if someone calls for your date to give you a heads up first until you decide? Please do not rush into a decision that will keep you up at night! sit with the info, research and make the choice that will be right for YOU and will make you happy!

Is Imagine the only photog you have met with? If so, I would suggest you make an appointment to see someone else (or more!) whose work you also love. If for nothing else, but to set your mind at ease that you are absolutely making the right decision. You may find yourself saying 'Nope, I'm definitely going with Imagine.'

Were there any ways to cut costs with Imagine? If their work is so good then it will be beautiful no matter what package you go with.

Well I threw all sense out the door (must have been the 2 glasses of wine that I had w/ lunch) And I called Imagine & told them to send me the contract. So I can mark that of my list!!
