I have an appoitment with Imagine Photographers next Tues!!!!

Now what do I have to ask them?

Hurray! Just know the package that you want (# of pics, do you need parent albums, thank you's and whatever else. How many hours do they cover? If you already spoke pricing with them than you just need to know if you are comfortable with them and you like the work they show you. I have heard wonderful things about them, unfortunately they were out of my $$ range. also, timing; when proofs ready, pics, albums etc. and payment method and when due. Hope this helps.

Congrats, I'm sure your appt will go well. I met with Nelson (the husband who does video) before, and he was great. Their work is beautiful

I think i remember now why we didn't meet with them, at the time we weren't going with video and If I recall correctly, thats the only way they book, both video and photo??

Im ticked off about that!! Because we decided we would only do a video if we have the $$. I think it's ridiculous that you HAVE to have both!

so I was right? they do need both? If you do not want a video, who else have you seen? there's LOADS of recommendations for photog. here and I don't know of any that requires both.

Judging by the brides on this board, they do great work. They shouldn't require you to use them for both but it probably works well for them Aren't they a husband and wife team? If it isn't too expensive, I wouldn't worry about it.
I think Dawn gave you the important questions, can't think of anything else.

That doesn't sound right to me, why would you have to book both through them? I would definitely question them on that one. I'll bet they may say that they just work best together and don't have an outside video person getting in their way. But that would really be a load of Cr%^p too.

wait a minute.. Imagine studios, must have both video and photog. they are a husband/wife team. do not do photo without video.. thats all we mean

I wish they weren't so great! They are a bit on the $$ side. I'm going to see what they can do for me. If they are way to pricey I will hunt for others!

Yes I have to agree Imagines work IS gorgeous. I thought you guys were saying that if you didn't want video that was fine with them, but if you were have video, it had to be through them not someone else.

Kate, I was really confused last nite. It was not your fault, I was weary and misread both yours and Jenns post. Wish I could blame it on alcohol! LOL
Originally I was just trying to confirm with tracy if that WAS there policy. I had spoken to soo many photog and I thought I remembered that they will ONLY book photo plus video and they work as a team. But I wasn't positive this was them.

Anyway, I know and see from all the reviews that they do wonderful work and I wanted to meet with them myself, but at the time we weren't going with video. Now however things have changed!
