I got some great news today!!

I just found out this morning that we are able to hire a detective in Ethiopia to find our boys' families, Paulos parents have passed away, but he does have an aunt who takes care of his very sick baby brother, Biruk's parents have also passed away, but his aunt dropped him at the orphanage because she can not care for him and he has some half sisters..so Id been sick about this, I want them to know who and where they came from and it was my biggest wish to have them say bye to their family, its an even bigger wish to have them stay in contact with their family..so we have a detective that is going to do some checking around, hopefully when I go there, I can take the boys to see their families and hopefully I can get as much infor on their brith parents as possible..I do have their names, but I would love to KNOW about them, what were their personalities like, what were their hobbies, things like that. I just feel so good today, knowing that I can do this for them!!!!
So far groups have been going over a month early..so if it stays that way..Ill be going in May!!!! Im praying HARD on it..I cant even focus on anything else. I have a 4.o in grad school..but I am sure after this semester..Ill have a 1.0! I cant focus on school.Im in Ethiopia Wonderland!!! YEA!!!

Thanks so much!!! I am praying this detective can find the families. Hes found other families for other adopting families, and hes developed a good reputation..so my chances are very very good. I would be extra happy if I could acquire pictures of the boys as babies. I cant imagine growing up not knowing when my real birth date is and not knowing what I looked like as a baby!!! If anyone on here prays..please pray that we have some luck with this. I feel good because before this..it wsa just a wish, but I didnt know there was naything I could realistically do about it, but now its become a reality! The search is on...Im going to pray pray pray!!
More good news, Dex is going with me. He had his tumor removed and he was out of work, but applied for disability because the Doc told him to stay out of work..so now he didnt have to use up his vacation days..so hell fly out with me, stay just for a week, but will be there to meet the boys for the first time, then he'll fly back alone and Ill stay the extra week with the boys until their passprots and visas are ready!!! Everything is just working out so nicely!

Its funny..I called my mom first thing this mroning to tell her we got the detective and she just said 'oh'..then she said 'im just looking at this from a mothers point of view, I worry about you in a 3rd world country' and it was the best feeling to say 'Im ALSO looking at this from a mother's perspective and I want my boys to knwo where they came from, who they are' and it felt SOOOOOOOOOOOO great to realize Im a mom..not technically yet..but Im a mom!!! I am so excited!!! I wish I could just forward my life and get there!!! I cant wait also to post pictures of them with me!!! I dream about seeing them, but when its really real, I think Ill be crying and crazy..Ive gotta keep it together as not to freak them out. I keep hearing how shy both boys are!!!
