Before I go on and post my fat mug on here, I have to rave about the salon. For NYC girls that are in Midtown - this place is a gem!! They were beyond friendly and knowledgeable and treated me so nice (and surprised me at the end because the haircut was free since I was donating)!! The best part is that they have 'real' prices, not overinflated like you would expect in the area (less than half of what others in the area charge!). They are next to Warren Tricomi but you would never know it. Love them...please go to them (the owner Anthony was awesome), they rock!!

I donated my hair to Locks of Love (all 14 inches of it!!) and I feel a million times better!! Love the new hairstyle!!
Ignore the face (ugh, the wonder of post wedding weight gain) & the pictures since my hubby took them really close up - just look at the hair...

Yeah, in that nighborhood I'd expect to be charged hundreds for a haircut. I tried to find someplace reasonable when my DH lived on West 57th, and there was nothing!!

Kerie, you are so right. I was calling around expecting outrageous prices (and snobby service) but this place is such a gem. Their haircuts are between $50-65 and because I did Locks of Love mine was free (total surprise!!). I completely recommend them! And you can't beat that location - 57th Street and 5th Avenue!!

That's great, I even tried Dramatics Salon on West 57th and they wanted some crazy amount of money for LITERALLY 2 strands of hilights. At the time, I was looking for chunks framing my face, but I never got it. I went to Dramatics thinking I could afford them and b/c I had used a Dramatics salon on 23rd Street and assumed that the prices would be similar at all their locations.

Michelle, the bangs are for 'decorative' purposes only... They're non-functioning. All I could do is side 'sweep' them...
