I had 2nd thoughts...

So... we all know my friend Stef got married sat right? Right. Well, I was with her most of the day Thursday and all day Friday running around doing stuff. At a point i was thinking to myself, 'Gee... is this really all worth it? After all it is only a day and look at how much money, hassle, and trouble everything is! Maybe Steve and I made a BIG mistake planning this so far. Not that we have much of a choice now but still.'

BUT

Right before I was about to walk down the aisle with her behind me i knew i was estatic for her and couldn't wait for my day. (my heart was pounding out of my chest) I started to tear up when I saw her come down the aisle cuz i was happy for her but it also made all this wedding planning more real since this was the first wedding FH and I have been to since we've been engaged. Right now it's all paperwork and planning but at the reception all the hard work and little details really come together.

Now i'm even more excited for my wedding!! I'm also glad that i can talk to people about it more w/o worrying i'm taking away from my friend.

Aww!! Pretty soon it will be your big day and all the planning will be sooooo worth it!!!

I felt the same way at the wedding I went to two weeks ago. I got a huge knot in my stomach when the bride started walking down the aisle, and I started tearing up when she was walking, when they were walking back after, during their first dance, and during her dance with her dad. I told FH to beware because I'm going to be a mess for ours
