it finally happened! i had had a dream a few weeks ago that i was pregnant and didn't fit in my dress, but the other night i had one of those full-blown wedding nightmares.
i was in my old elementary school getting ready ( ) and I realized I was late! It took me forever to get ready because I was the only one there. (not sure how i managed to do my own hair and make-up). Then when I got to the venue (which was some cape cod cottage), my mom told me that the reverend and the DJ had left because I was so late! i was so upset, I was crying and I was so panicked and couldn't figure out what to do. somehow i managed to get the reverend back, but then we had a reception with NO music because the DJ refused to come back.
then i woke up and was soooo stressed! it took me like an hour to fall back asleep.

I had a similar one last week! But everyone I've talked to has said it's totally normal and AAAALLLL brides have those dreams. But, still, it's so stressful when it happens!! Hope your day gets better! lol!!

thank you!! i know it's totally normal - I was just so unprepared for how it really stressed me out! luckily, something I can laugh at after the fact!

My first and only (or only as I remember) also involved the DJ not being there and no music, resulting in everyone being bored. I think it's from underlying stress that we want everyone to enjoy themselves and a good DJ is key.

I've had one of those dreams recently too! I told the FH and he said 'I'd never let that happen.' It's scary though.
