I had the most AMAZING time last night! *I have a pic now!*
I went to the world premiere of the new Disney cartoon movie Brother Bear last night!!
We were the first to see the movie and afterwards there was a concert by Phil Collins! We walked down the red carpet right along with Phil and the other stars of the movie. It was too good to be true! People in the media were taking pictures of us like who we were. It was hysterical!!
My department was asked to go as 'audience fillers' for the concert, meaning when Phil started to sing we had to get up and dance and sing along and go crazy to get the crowd going. We had great seats for the movie, then for the concert we were pulled down to the bottom in the front rows. We were dancing and screaming and having a blast. THEN- one of the highlights of the night- TINA TURNER came on stage and sang! She was AMAZING- still kickin' at 60 something! and the other highlight of the night- Phil came out into the crowd when singing Sussudio and held the mic up to me and my co-worker and we sang along!! Aaaah! we were so star struck!
Then we went to the after party at Roseland. They had a whole bunch of craft tables for the kids that were there, tons of food and drinks, crazy ice sculptures... it was so fun. I wish I could describe it better! Highlight of that- at the craft table one of my co-workers and I were making a beaded necklace with the little girl with the curly black hair from the Pepsi commercials! She was really sweet and had a good time joking around with us.
Overall it was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had the chance to take a part of! I still can't get over it!!![]()
