I had the worst nightmare last night

I dreamed of working late in my office, and enduring a chemical attack while in the office with my coworkers. While others were able to retrieve protective equipment from the floor tiles, I managed to forget how to do that and was totally unprotected.
Then somehow I woke up the next day after the attack still in the office (I don't know how beds ended up being there), thinking I guess too bad I didn't have the protectiive equipment, I am still alive.

And then I woke up for real...

It was sooo scary, especially since I conciously don't feel terrified of all the war stuff. But I guess my sub-conciousness is something else.

Jenn, I don't even have wedding dreams and I never remember my normal dreams... That was soo weird and totally not called for. I didn't even watch news last night (we were practicing our waltz)

how weird .. i hate dreams like that that come out of nowhere, especially when you diddnt even realize you were really afraid of something until you dreamt it.

I was having those kinds of dreams after 9/11- like being trapped in burning buildings. I realized it was because I was watching the news right before bed. I stopped doing that, and the dreams stopped.
