Original post by Sunflower08

can any of you ladies tell me approx. how much $$ your spending on your honeymoon. We got some quotes today and I am not sure if they are a bit much or pretty standard.
TIA

We are spending about $3,500 and we are going to Paris for 3 nights and Barcelona for 4 nights. We did lots of research on hotels and caught a good sale on Expedia

We are going away for around 2 weeks:

Disney Polynesian for 7 nights
Discovery Cove / Seaworld
Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure

Clearwater Beach for 5 nights

Everything included, food, gas (we are driving there), souvenier money, shows, etc. we budgeted around $11,000

Just be sure to do a budget with every little thing included, because as we were making ours we realized how all the little things add up!

We are actually getting some really good deals for our HM, we knew we wanted to go to Disney so 2 years ago we got a Disney Visa and have been using it for EVERYTHING, food, gas, entertainment - everything. We pay it off every month so we don't get charged interest, this makes the Disney dollars we have earned have really free We have enough Disney $s to buy our tickets for the week with the Hopper pass and no expiration.

My parents are giving us their time share, so our lodging is free.

We got a great deal on southwest, non-stop flight for $375, we will rent a car when we get to Florida and see the Cirque de Soliel. in the end after food and entertainment our HM will be around $1500

After talking to several TA's, we ended up booking our own HM. We found that we were able to get the same thing they were offering for about $2K less if we did it on our own. Since we always plan trips on our own though, we were really comfortable going this route.

For about 10 days in Greece, we're paying about $5K.
