I know vacation is supposed to be fun.. but just thinking about getting on a plane for 5 1/2 hours I can't get excited... I hate flying .. plus I heard the turbulence to vegas is usually bad

The flight to Vegas when I went wasn't bad at all. Tell your dr, and maybe he can give you a zanax.

Aww I am the total opposite. I love flying, but I need to have a window seat. Jill is right you can go ask your doctor to give you something. Is the flight back from vegas usually longer due to currents? I remember trying to book a flight and it was a 9 hour flight back to ny.

I take .25 mg of xanax and still feel nervous. I don't want to take more bc I do not like feeling that drowsy. It should take longer going there but then shorter on the way home. I probably won't sleep tonight.

Me too ..im right with you on that one...im so bad that i have to go to my doc. and get med. to clam me down.....its not that bad at all...the flight i had over there was great!! it really all depends on the pliot...but try not to think about it ( as hard as it is)

I also hate flying. For long flights, I pop an ambien. Shorter ones, I tale a Xanax. It helps tremendously!

I HATE flying! I take a couple dramamine (the drowsy kind), it helps with motion sickness and KNOCKS me out for at least 2 hours, bring your laptop and watch a movie that helps the other 2 hours pass by.

If you don't like how .5 mg of Xanax makes you feel, try 1 and a half of the .25 tabs.
And make sure you're taking it half an hour before you get on the plane!

poor thing.. maybe you should see if your doctor and prescribe you something. My poor FH is like this too. I feel so terrible when I see him like that :(

It's really not bad, Im a flight attendant and fly around all month long...if you're that nervous ask the dr to give you something and take it as soon as you get onboard.
