Re: I HATE MACY'S
I used to be a buyer for MACY'S many years ago. I only go back in an emergency (like to return something that someone gave me)I did try to get something there for a friend's registry but Herald Square didn't carry one item from her registry in stock. I know from experience that Herald Square usually carries everything so i can imagine how hard it would be for those in the 'burbs to get weddign gifts.
People have to have time to order the gifts (and be prepared to pay a lot for shipping) This is OK for wedding gifts but a headache for shower presents. I know most people don't shop a month in advance for shower gifts so I don't know how they get the gifts from a MACY'S registry.
From now on when i see someone is registered only at MACY'S - i buy something at another store. I don't want to give them my business and I can't deal with the headache
