I hate my invitation BUDGET!!!

Grrrrrr.....I wish I had more $$$ for invites. I was stupid to misbuget it in the first place....and FH made me stick to it and he won't let us raise the budget.

So I went to Party City....and I'm not loving anything!!!

Went to a more formal invitation place after that...and the lady said I'd have an easier time finding stuff within my budget at Party City.

So...those of you under a strict budget, or even those of you that went the Party City/online route...could you post your invitations to give me some hope?

What about the place where you ordered your STDs from? Can't remember the site but I've been to it and their prices are pretty good.

Go to staples. THey have boxed invites-you may find something there...all you have to do is print them up

I did originally want to go the DIY route- I LOVE pocketfolds...but it turns out being more $$$$

Ohh Tara!..It's OK..How much is your budget if you don't mind telling us? Maybe we can help you do a bit of reserach. Or maybe you can show us samples of ones you like and we can try to find similar ones

I sympathize..I've looked everywhere for invites, and there is nothing that I LOVE. The only invite I really liked was on smashingcards.com. Of course I got their price list and the invite I love was $9.75 each, which is just too much. If I put them together myself they said they would take off 35%. I think since I haven't found anything that I'm excited about otherwise, I'm going to suck it up and just spend the extra $$, which is a little ridiculous considering nobody really looks at invites. Do you have your heart set on pocketfolds??

this is doable!

okay so let's set aside $65 for postage.... you have $235 for the invitations.... so each invitation can cost up to $2.35 (subtract a little... because of shipping if you order online)

You can definently find invites online for around $2 a piece...what type are u looking for??

did you like something like our invitations (pic in album)...

this is the basic invitation....

but you can customize the cardstock color, font color, font style, and you can add a motif or monogram.

these invitations are $1.50/each (including outer envelope with your return address printed).... and the reception card and envelope are $.90 (with your address printed on it)
