I HATE my job

Sorry to vent but I really hate my job. I went from loving this place to hating it. My bosses took my assistant away because they claim their work wasn't getting done. So now I spend hours aday filing. I am soooo glad I am getting paid what I make to file. Really good use of company funds plus now the important work is suffering. All they have given her is personal work which comes out to about 10 hours a week. UUGGHHH.

Thanks ladies. Had to get this out.

So sorry to hear this. I go back and forth on my job - loving it, hating it, being just ok with it. Did you just start? Can you look for something else or move to a different dept.? My job happens to be only 10 mins from my house, so I can go home at lunch almost every day or run errands .. and I don't have too much to do so while it ***** because I am bored a lot, I also get a lot of wedding stuff done .. so while I considered looking for something else, it's not all that bad and i am going to stick it out until after the wedding at least.

I've been here about a year and a half. The market is rough right now so it's a little scary to make a move. I just wish they would offer me 6 months severance to leave. The problem is there is only one of me and they can't eliminate my position because they will need to hire someone. I have to suck it up and stick it out until the market turns around. Plus I gets lots of vacation and I have a few trips planned this year plus the wedding. Why can't I win the lotto.
