SHE IS CAUSING SO MANY PROBLEMS!! her staying w/ me the night before thew wedding when HER son is staying at the hotel! W/ DOG! WHEN WE ALREADY HAVE A DOG OFOUR OUR OWN!! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORD THIS THE RIGHT WAY!! my mom and dad would never impose on us like that!1

Wow, we have a lot in common, maybe we need to go out for drinks and start a 'I have problems with FMIL' club!

sometimes i don't get it, b/c his parents were never really there for him as a child, but for some reason he has a soft spot for his mother!! he was in an aprtment at 15 when she lived in queens and rented their house, he had a ****** child hood!!

Whaaattt?!?!? It's okay, while I was on Vacation, my FMIL Re-arranged all of my cabinets to the point of me not being able to find things - and did my laundry - AND put it all away - In MY DRESSER!!! They CAN be intrusive - but usually mean well?...

does your FMIL have any other relatives that she can stay with here in NY? or can she stay with your parents instead?

My parents and sister are coming from Florida as well and they are going to stay with my FILS for a few days - we are all going to the hotel the night before the wedding but for the rest of the trip my parents are staying with my FILS.....

wow, that's great!! but the entire reason it is a problem is b/c of my girls, his and mine!! i am not having a bridal party, just my daughter and his, and we are staying in our house an dgetting ready here too! my parents house is not big enough and they don't really know each other that well, to stay there too!! and my mom has like 6 cats!! to go to the hotel w/ 2 kids and me would just be a big hassle!! and besides i would be doing everything for her and her husband the night before my wedding, i just want to relax, have a glass of wine and get to bed early!
