Quick background: My 11 BM's are wearing a lovely Jim Hjelm black dress, black shoes and cream colored pearls of their choice. Very cute since some of them are doing larger pearls and one of my stylish sisters is wearing long pearls.
Here is why I am mad: My other sister is REFUSING to wear cream colored pearls. According to her, they don't look good on her. She wants to wear -- get this -- BLACK PEARLS. You must be f-ing kidding me. I told her to go to ANYWHERE and get a cheap string of cream pearls. She said she couldn't do that because she is allergic to metal and the clasp might cause her to have a rash. I told her to wrap the clasp in medical tape and WA-LA solution to her problem. She said NO! Can you believe that?!?!
So I had to do the unthinkable and call my parents and tell them that she is just being awful and if she won't wear what everyone else is, she can't be in the wedding. Well my mom thinks I am over-reacting and my dad thinks my sister is being a baby so now my parents are fighting too.
AM I BEING A BRIDEZILLA???

I wouldn't call it rocky, but of my 4 sisters, she is the one we are all the least close to. She alienates herself from all of us by just being really judgemental and rude. Example, my youngest sister needs to gain some weight because she's had some eating issues, and my mean sister kept making mean comments about it over Thanksgiving to the point that my youngest sister left early. Like changed her flight and went home early.

She's allergic to the clasp of the pair of cream pearls she doesn't even have. She has a metal allergy so she can only wear gold.

see my post above. you can get a strand of pearls on cotton thread and just knot the ends on the day of. she doesnt have to wear them again, and you can just cut the string at the end of the night. as long as shes not allergic to cotton she'll be OK.

EXACTLY! I don't care as long as she wears them for the ceremony and pictures and I think ANYONE can suck it up long enough to do that. My dad just called and said she is jealous and crying on the phone to my mom about how she will never find anyone to marry... blah blah blah.....

if you think she might want to wear them again you could buy her a strand of pearls with a small gold clasp. Maybe even buy fake pearls and bring them to a jewelry and ask them to swap the clasp for the cheapest gold clasp they have. maybe they will grow on her
if not, go for the cheapy solution! hehehe

my entire bridal party is sisters, mine and FH's...They are only 4 but they do try your patience!
One sister is overly involved, the other couldn't care less...My BM dresses are black, (which most people would be excited about) but not my sister-- 'Black is Boring' she said.... It never ends, I feel your pain but I guess that is the nature of being a sister---you can be difficult!

I am allergic to metal too but I can wear it for a few hours and I'm fine. She can deal with it. If it bothers her during the party tell her she can take them off. She's just making excuses.
