ok long story as short as i can make it.....my ering is not very wedding band friendly....i didnt want the band with the part that hugs around the stone, so I opted for a wedding band 'jacket' well i get to the jeweler and i HATE the way it looks.....makes the band look super thick, and its so uncomfy!
so FH and I decide to take one half of the 'jacket' to see if I would like the way it looks that way, so here are some pics....I like the way it looks, however it keeps popping off the ring and moving around and its so annoying, the only way to prevent that is to sotter (sp?) the 2 rings together!
so here are my options.... 1. i get a band thats regular and i wear them on 2 seperate hands....yuck! and i cant stand rings on my writing hand
2. i get a regular band and have it not sit perfectly against the ering....yuck!
3. I get my ering reset with a higher setting so the regular band sits against it normal....FH is sad that it wont be the ring he propsed with

I totally agree!... Your e-ring is gorgeous! Would your FH be upset if you just wore your wedding band on the right hand??

my ering isnt comfortable on my right hand....the band it to thick and digs into my fingers when I write
and thank you! i love my ering to death, but i also want to love my whole wedding set b/c i'll be wearing it the rest of my life!

Ok there are the rest of the pictures. I LOVE IT! I don't think it looks to big. But if it isn't comfy then you have a problem. But honestly, I like it! JMO

the ring with the hole in it would be my wedding band....and there were supposed to be 2 of them, one for each side of the ering, but then it looked more like this pic....and i hated it!
i like it this way too....there were supposed to be 2 bands, one on each side, that i hated....this with one band i like, but it keeps falling apart....they dont stay together unless you sodder them together, and then they could never be seperated

i agree.... it's soo beautiful!! but if it isn't comfortable, then you have to do something :( sorry i don't have any ideas on what that something is!

is it terrible that i want to reset it? i would keep it all exactly the same just make the ring 'head' higher and put a bridge under it, that way i can have a whole wedding band and have it lay flat
i dont know what to do....i wish the jeweler told FH to make the setting higher when he designed it

Your e-ring is beautiful! I wouldn't change it...I agree with your FH. JMO
I think the wedding band looks great with it but, if it's not comfortable that could be a problem.

I would solder them together or how about having a ring made with a little knotch that attaches to the e-ring, i know people who have rings like that and they don't move around.

the jeweler didnt give me that option...i asked about like a hook to hold them together and said no

omgoshhh I love your ring - it's gorgeous I like the 1 band w/ it - like in the 2nd/3rd pic...looks beautiful. Yeah, have them sotter'd together so it doesnt move around too move (JPO but I dont like the whole wearing rings on both hands either, so this is my suggestion HTH)
