ok long story as short as i can make it.....my ering is not very wedding band friendly....i didnt want the band with the part that hugs around the stone, so I opted for a wedding band 'jacket' well i get to the jeweler and i HATE the way it looks.....makes the band look super thick, and its so uncomfy!
so FH and I decide to take one half of the 'jacket' to see if I would like the way it looks that way, so here are some pics....I like the way it looks, however it keeps popping off the ring and moving around and its so annoying, the only way to prevent that is to sotter (sp?) the 2 rings together!
so here are my options.... 1. i get a band thats regular and i wear them on 2 seperate hands....yuck! and i cant stand rings on my writing hand
2. i get a regular band and have it not sit perfectly against the ering....yuck!
3. I get my ering reset with a higher setting so the regular band sits against it normal....FH is sad that it wont be the ring he propsed with
I cant win!!!! i dont know what to do

I have a similar e-ring. I am getting a diamond band to wear on my right hand... and then i am getting the U shaped enhancer to wear with my e-ring on my left hand. Have you tried the U shaped enhancers instead of the cut open ring? Also, you can always sotter them together now, and have them un-sottered later. They can always go back!

i love the way it looks now but if you don't then get a e-ring set higher. your FH has to understand that this is your wedding band and you need to be comfy since you will be wearing it for the rest of your life.

I will have the same issue. My ring is pretty similar in style to yours. I'm planning on wearing my engagement ring on my right hand and my wedding band on my left.

I really like the way the wedding band looks...I wouldn't have thought of that nor did I even know that was an option but it looks very very nice. I would def stick with the setting he proposed with it's amazing!
