I hate the freaking church!!!

So after i went to the church yesterday and we agreed on music the priest called and left me a message saying that he thought it over and feels that my music is inappropriate because it is 'secular'. He made some other suggestions in his long and drawn out message. How can he agree to it and then change his mind? I am so sick of the church and the priest! And when I called FH to tell him, he was just like, 'I dont know... I dont know what can I tell ya!'

see this is why i don't want to get married in a church, they make things so difficult and they wont let you do what you want.

id call the priest as calm as you can be, and talk to him about it and let him know it means a lot to you.

i find that if you sweet talk a priest he will bend for you.

This is why I didn't even both picking music for Church. When the priest asked, I just said have the organist play the traditional songs.

I got a list of choices. My music director helped me select them. For the most part I chose traditional.
