I may be cancelling my wedding. We postponed from last year bc I got laid off and this year we were doing really good with payments then I got sick and we are back to broke. We are trying to decide if us getting pt jobs will help the situation but I cant seem to find a pt job. We have no one to borrow from my parents are gone and his are broke because of a family situation that occurred. FH wants to elope but I dont want to lose all of my vendor payments and we cant postpone again.
Just needed to vent thanks for reading.

FH and I have both been putting in overtime to supplement the wedding costs and it has helped a lot. (Getting up and teaching on Saturday ***** but its good money.) Maybe there is something that you guys can do part-time or on the weekends to help off-set the cost. A little faith and determination can go a long way! I hope it all works out!

I'm sorry you are going through this Can you possibly just make your wedding smaller? Maybe invite less people, don't give favors, downsize flowers, etc. I hope everything works out for you.

Summer is coming, keep looking for that part time job... or think back to when you were a kid...can you put flairs up for babysitting, mowing the lawn, odd and end house hold chores until you can find a part time job? It's a streach but every little bit counts...

I'm sooo sorry to read this.
I just wanted to recommend something... it might sound strange but it's good money and CASH too!!
DH just got a job at a pizzeria/restaurant delivering food. He works about 5 hours (sometimes up to 7 hours if they are super busy) and makes anywhere from 100 to 200 A DAY in CASH. He was hired for 3x a week...but so far they've called him in an additional 3 x this week!! so there's money to be made doing this!! it's off the books and you get a shift pay plus tips. It's good money for the work you are doing!!!!! he only JUST started but it's super easy money!!
I just wanted to pass that along.
And please know you are not alone! wedding are expensive!! I worked full time and DH worked TWO FULL TIME jobs at the time (not the pizza place, that one he just started). It was A LOT of work.... but it CAN BE DONE!!!!
