I HAVE AN 05 PROPOSAL!!!

This 05 board took some sweat, yells and FM's to get and I am not too happy about how it's been lately. In all honesty, it might just be me who doesn't like it but I am letting it out. If you disagree, please feel free. But...be respectful...I would never disrespect you!
Back in June....Divabride and I gathered up the 05 girls and pushed them all to this board to get it moving. We started the Good Morning threads every morning and they stuck and I couldn't be more thrilled!!!

I have to let this out though because it is killing me! And let me also mention that this is in NO WAY pointing to anyone!!!!

-- Can we not clutter 05 with NWR posts? Let's tranfer those to NWR. Same for the QOTD's?
Let's talk weddings....that seems to keep the drama away IMO

-- Can we stop the cliques!!!!???? I refer to the special shout-out's and the special titles. It has gotten out of hand and girls are feeling left out and hurt.

I bring this to you for one simple reason. This has been expressed to me and some 05 brides will not come onto the 05 board because of it and that bothers me!!!!

Let's do what we can to keep 05 Drama-Free and useful and helpful and more importantly, welcoming to all!!!!

Really? Thanks!!! Sometimes I think people think I am nasty or a know-it-all. I just can't stand that a bunch of us fought so hard for this and half of us won't even come on here anymore!!!

That sounds like a great plan. It's hard because some of us are relatively new and others have been here a while, met etc. We are all in the same boat, planning a wedding and even if you do 'know' someone better then others, you shouldn't make the others like they are not part of the 'group'...so I agree with Flaca without giving her a special shout-out

I have to say that if you really don't want any NWR on this bard, then it will be totally dead. If you look at the first page, there are at least 13 threads that have nothing to do with weddings. But then someone will post a complaint about it being dead, like someone did yesterday or friday.

So I am just saying that I don't think this board will be as happening without the NWR. Also, people post those threads here to get more responses because a lot of people don't visit the NWR board, but they respond to NWR posts here. Crap, I hope that makes sense.

i agree to a point - i like the QOTD as i KNOW most of the 05 brides & not many on the NWR boards. When i replied to the NWR board - i felt like an outsider.

We all talk wedding - which is why we are here
bu i think the quotes are diversions that can be refreshing

Thank you very much for posting this. I have been feeling a little uncomfortable with the drama and I think we need to move forward. I understand it'll happen and that's fine but this board has been so helpful and supportive and I'd hate to see us lose that. Let's move forward to plan these weddings!!!

NWR is always going to be a split debate. I just hate to see it cluttered with that stuff. But it is my opinion. Doesn't mean no one should post them. It is just my feeling.

And also....The people on NWR are great!!!! Take a pop in there. You'll love it!!!!!

I agree. It's a great thing to shout out someone and tell them that they're great or continue a conversation, but it does exclude others. That's what's great about LIW (as opposed to the Knot)--we have Forum Mail and maybe that's a better place to do those kinds of things.

I swear you and I think alike!!!!!! I was thinking the SAME THING!!!! I just didnt know how to say it without coming off rude, but you put it so eloquently. With a few check-ins here and there, I can honestly say I have been avoiding LIW because of this. Lets talk about weddings and leave the NWR to that board.

Thanks Flaca. The very best thing about LIW is all the great wedding ideas and advice I've heard on here. It would be great to get back to that

how about just having one NWR thread a day and just post everything NWR in it, sort of like we have the GMB thread
