I have come to a realization.............

All this time, FH has been letting me make the calls on the wedding. His answer to *mostly* everything is 'Whatever you want dear....I don't care.'

I've been getting mad all this time thinking that since he doesn't care about the wedding, he just doesn't care period. I've always kind of had this feeling that he just proposed to shut me up (been together almost 10 years, so marriage talk has been around for a bit now).

Well we were dancing at our friend's wedding Friday night, and he mentioned how he can't wait until that's us, and we're married, and he's so excited to make me his wife.

So I figured it out...........he doesn't care about the wedding persay......he cares about the MARRIAGE! Yea yea I should've known this in the first place, but when my head is in wedding mode and he says he doesn't care...........it's not pretty.

So any of you girls that are upset when your FH doesn't give input and you feel he doesn't care.....he probably doesn't. About the wedding itself at least. He cares about marrying you and spending his life with you!

that is so sweet!!! FH cares and loves u...i mean come on u got the most amazing svarovski earrrings!!!!

I am really glad Mike made you feel more confident. He is a great guy!!! It is very obvious you both are meant for eachother...




Now, If only you had posted this last Tuesday it could have saved A LOT of tears and time for my Wednesday... JK

i realized this over the weekend too!!!

we went out to dinner & FH says, 'so whats up?' so i told him that we have to go look at the limos, pick out invitations & favors, go to the florist, etc... he looks at me with this blank stare.

so i then explained to him that we only have 9 months & lots of stuff to do at which point he said, 'i just can't wait until where married & there is no more planning.'

aweee it is so great that your FH told you how he felt

MY FH has an oppinion about a lot of wedding stuff I thought he wouldnt. He doesnt just go out and say it but when I ask him his oppinion he has one down to the BM dresses He just doesnt want anything he does not like.

Thanks ladies......deep down I know he cares. But when he makes stupid suggestions like:

Hulk ice sculpture
Top hat, cane, coat tails
Seersucker suit instead of a traditional tux
Ironman themed invitations - this is the newest one as of last night


It makes me second guess......but I forget that sometimes he's just an a$$ and does it to get a rise out of me


And yes......he DID buy me the most gorgeous earrings ever!!!!
