WOW it all hit me so much today. I had to drive to commack and the whole drive from queens to commack, i couldnt stop crying. And not just a few tears but really crying. All the emotions hit me at once. Just thinking of FBIL's speech got me histerical too bc he is such a mush and i know his speech will have us crying, thinking of seeing him for the first time when i walk down the aisle, and just all these moments. Then driving back home too i started crying. I just keep crying today non-stop. I told my mom this as i was boxing my favors, which yes i JUST finished now, took me 1 1/2 hours to box them all and ribbon them but PHEW that is done with anyways from the corner of my eye i saw my mom crying which omg is a big thing bc she cries as often as there is an eclipse. I am a mess hahaha, i dont even know how i will be at the rehearsal, how will i even handle that if i am crying for no reason out of nowhere and i cant even stop myself.
Its insane the feelings you go through and all the emotions. I have had a week of pure H E L L lol but finally mostly everything is done. All i have left to do is tomorrow to pick up my dress and veil, and my dad got a van and he will drop off the rest of the stuff at jericho terrace tomorrow morning. Then just get a mani and pedi. PHEW i just crashed hard before too. I was out from 10am running around, got the wrong size box so had to drive back to commack this is my first time sitting today, and in a few mins have to get ready to go to the rehearsal. Yesterday i was out from 9am and didnt get home until 11:30pm, i ended up getting stuck in the worst traffic in the city last night, they closed down this whole big section so nobody was really moving. I am so out of it. But this insane rush of excitedness hit me, and then emotions.
Its truly crazy, and today none of the little touches went through my mind, none of these things we always obsess about. The only things that i cant wait for are seeing him when i walk down the aisle, saying our vows. And just the whole night of us together celebrating and with all our loved ones. Now i wonder why drove myself crazy about so many things, i am marrying my best friend this saturday and nothing can compete to that.

lol you are too cute!!! Its tears of joy! You just need to relax now and take it easy I find myself crying too while I'm driving home, like omg I can't believe I'm getting married then i think about not living with my parents anymore and this is now lol I wonder what it would be like in September...but this a great time in your life. I hope you enjoy every moment!!

you'll never forget the moment you see each other for the first time....it'll be amazing. it's weird how everything else falls away when you compare it to that. just remember to take time to spend even a second alone with your new husband at the reception to take it all in.
I hope your day is amazing....which no doubt it will be.

wow i went through the same thing. i must of cried my eyes out 2-3 days before the wedding. then it was weird i was so calm the night before and that morning. i didn't even cry, i was just sooo happy walking down the aisle to marry my best friend & partner for life.

Aww Denise, hopefully all the crying will be over with today and you will be calm and relaxed on Saturday! I know I will probably be the same way before mine... I've been an emotional mess already!

Just reading that and the responses made my cry. You're right, it's a lot of emotions and they come out for no reason! Had my rehearsal dinner last night, got a little buzzed and said to my mom, 'I'm gonna be a wife on Sat.' and she started to cry! You're going to be gorgeous. I've been to plenty of weddings where the bride starts to (and can't stop) crying, it's ok! Last night, my pastor said to me, 'you're the bride, everything you do is RIGHT!'

aww Denise you mae me tear up reading this!! I've been having a lot of emotional tearing up at the strangest of times, i cant imagine what 2 days before my wedding will be like. Its good to cry!!! I was a wreck just before, I was so nervous before the rehearsal that I really thought I was going to faint! all that emotion leading up and the day of all I felt was happiness! I know you will feel the same! get ready for the best day of your life! congratulations!!!
