o.k. I hadnt reserved any rooms yet b/c all my family and his family is local and if they are not they are staying with my family or his family.

Our wedding is a Sunday afternoon too so most people are going to be working Monday, so should I reserve rooms?

Im getting one for me and DH but how many more would you suggest?

When you block out rooms if they arent used do you have to pay anything?

When you reserve them do you have to leave some sort of deposit?

you can block out a few just so they are available for your guests...

No, but usually you have to book the room a month before the wedding or they let the rooms go... that would mean your guests have less than 2 weeks to book.

I believe that you can hold the block of rooms until a month before the wedding date. If the rooms are still open you can let them go with no charge.

I would block rooms, most places won't charge you for what isn't used because they release them back into the booking pool about a month before your wedding. You do not have to pay for what isn't used (in most places).

I would block about 10, unless you know more people will be staying.

You don't have to leave any kind of deposit or anything, just sign a contract (which can usually be broken in a certain time period).

I responded to you on 05 as well!
