I think my ring looks great on my finger but I have small hands. My sister tried it on and it looked tiny tiny on her. I guess my FH was lucky

This is my e-ring, it is 930483084 carats and is so large I can't wear it on my finger so I just use it as a paperweight. FH sold is soul to the devil for it but a FH with a soul is so overrated these days.
You could wear it as a choker, duh!

My center stone is a little less than a carat. my fingers are very chubby...I hate them..like a 8 1/2. I love my ring, even tho it's on the small side..it's such a gorgeous diamond ..so shiny and clear, people always comment on it.

mine is .9 but maybe the tiny ones on the side make it more? my fh said that 1 carat was too expensive and by going w/a .9 it was so much cheaper Ok, whatever you say!! I can't tell a difference I'm a size 9 or 9.5 I forget!!!
t looks fine on my fat fingers! I'm relieved because I hate wearing rings but this isn't tight!

once i tried on rings at zales and they said i was a size 7, when i went to fortunoffs they said i was a size 5! thank god i believed fortunoffs because even now my ring is sometimes too roomy!

I agree! Constructive talking about rings...i.e which jeweler to use, different styles etc. is great. Comparing carat size is crass, JMHO.

The size of the diamond really doesn't matter by itself. It's the clarity, color and cut that make the ring what it is.

My ring is 4 carats and it looks HUGE on me b/c I'm model-thin. People are constantly commenting on how I am so skinny and they throw burgers at me, which I catch in my mouth like a trained seal. Yes, seals love burgers.

'09er crashing...had to comment on this post!! I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when I first saw my ring, and that definitely made me feel guilty!! But then I found out that FH used the stone from his mother's first engagement ring and then I was honored. He says in about 2 years I'll get an upgrade. I didn't believe him at first, but then for my bday in Feb., he actually bought me a ring that will be used for the upgrade...I felt pretty stupid after that!!! My stone is about .75 and my finger is a size 4. It has 25 diamonds going all the way around (an eternity band)..which are a pretty decent size. So 26 diamonds all together...the age I was when he proposed. And he proposed on the same day his dad proposed to his mom...Christmas Eve...very sentimental.
