I hope this isn't a taboo question

however, if you do answer can you also say what ring size you are?

I think my ring looks great on my finger but I have small hands. My sister tried it on and it looked tiny tiny on her. I guess my FH was lucky

Mine is 1.01 carats. Solitaire. I am a size 7 I think ... I used to be 6 3/4 but this one had to be bigger for some reason (thicker band? not sure). Sometimes, it looks small to me - not in a bad way - and sometimes, it looks huge. Most of the time, it looks just fine and it looks to me exactly the way an engagement ring should.


I agree about the sometimes it looks huge, sometimes small, and most of the time just right.

I think mine looks bigger w/ my wedding band --

center stone is 1.5 carats

with 17 tiny diamonds around it equaling 1 carat

and i had my left finger broken about 2 years ago( by DH) so i wear an 8 size ring

of all fingers he could have broken

the rest are like a 7 i think

My center stone is 1.53 but with the sidestones my ring totals 3 carats. My ring is a size 7...

My center stone is a little less than a carat. my fingers are very chubby...I hate them..like a 8 1/2. I love my ring, even tho it's on the small side..it's such a gorgeous diamond ..so shiny and clear, people always comment on it.

My ring is just under one carat and about 1.3 including my side stones.

My fingers are an 8 1/2, but I love my ring. It was exactly what I wanted.

My ring is a size 7 and is in total 1 and a 1/4 carats... I love it. It is different and my FH went all by himself with no help and bought the perfect ring!

Hmm mine is just under one carat so I guess it is on the 'Small side' but our jeweler told DH that he should go for perfect clarity over size if he was going to spend more moola. So he did. Its a near perfect diamond (cause we all know how rare and EXPENSIVE perfect diamonds are) and I am happy with it. Its not huge but my ring is a size 4 sooooo it works for my hand.

Word of advice, I created a thread just like this and the drama went on for 3-4 days...I hope the same doesn't happen for you
