I think my ring looks great on my finger but I have small hands. My sister tried it on and it looked tiny tiny on her. I guess my FH was lucky

I would love to see the 6 carat diamond ring!

The diamond was originally my grandmothers. If I can find a picture of it, I'll post it.

A lot of people have asked me in person, and it always makes me uncomfortable. My ring is definitely not the biggest of my friends though

Also, I have an Ascher cut ring which looks smaller for the carat size it is. I am a size 6 finger

Mine is 2.5 carets, but since it is a sapphire, it doesn't have the same oomph that a diamond of that size would. I love it though, I wouldn't care if it was 2.5 carets of coal. Oh, and I am a size 7 which I actually thought was average until I read this. I feel like I freak. But my fingers look skinny

I did for the first few months we were engaged. My mom wears her engagement ring on her right and her wedding band on her left.

I have since switched to wearing it on my left most of the time. However, I might switch it back to my right again after we are married.

I seriously would have been happy with half of it.

He did such an amazing job.........the appraiser was happy to tell him it was worth about 50% more than he actually paid for it, and he bought it retail!

Mine is 1.01 carats. Solitaire. I am a size 7 I think ... I used to be 6 3/4 but this one had to be bigger for some reason (thicker band? not sure). Sometimes, it looks small to me - not in a bad way - and sometimes, it looks huge. Most of the time, it looks just fine and it looks to me exactly the way an engagement ring should.
