Mine is 2.2 carats for the center stone ( side stones/pave another 1.3 ) , my finger is a size 6/12

my center stone is just slightly over 1 carat. my ring size is 4.5, and i have very short fingers. when i tried on rings that were 1.25, they looked too big on me. i also prefer a smaller stone, so even rings that were .8 carats looked nice on me, i just happened to fall in love with my particular stone.

I'm a little under a 6 1/2 ring size and center stone is a little over a carat. My Mother has a 6 carat diamond and it looks great on her finger, but lsilly on me.

mine is 1.5 carots and my finger is a 4.5, it looks fairly large on my finger. My friends ring is 1.78 carots and looks ginormous on my finger.

my ring size is a 4.25 - i have tiny fingers but they are short and i feel like they are stubby i wish i had long skinny fingers b/c i feel like my ring would look so gorgeous on a nicer hand than mine
i have a solitaire - its bigger than 2.6 its actually just under 3 - i was really shocked when i saw it - i wanted to kill FH but at the same time of course i was really really happy - and so nervous to wear it ....i think that sometimes people assume its fake because of its size (and it doesnt help that i look really young) which is kind of a bummer - the day after i got engaged i even got a comment from someone in my family who is rather obnoxious saying that i better get it appraised because 'you never know' - i guess he was suggesting it was fake - little did he know we were getting it appraised the next day for insurance
i actually had a few people ask how many carats it was and i was so caught off guard and felt so uncomfortable, its like how do you answer that? the first time someone asked i lied and said it was smaller because i didnt want to come off as bragging....
i never answered one of these threads before but since i come on the boards a lot now i dont really mind sharing...i will say that ive seen threads like this get sour real fast in the past though - people get nuts!

hahahahahahaha during holiday season someone from Lifamilies website wrote in a post about how she thought icicle lights were tacky...and well...she had some other choice words for them and the people who use them...well this post made it to LIweddings and oh my...the drama this thread caused. it got so bad it started to just be funny! we all joked about how we were going to put icicle lights all over.

Not sure if I should respond since people are mentioning this topic has caused drama before but.. My ring size is 5 1/2, and my ring consists of a 3.15 carat center stone with .25 carat stones on each side.
