I just..

preserved (cleaned) my wedding gown....I am so bad..I got married over 5 months ago and my gown was hanging in my empty bedroom until last week......I hope all the stains will come out...

how fast did you preserve/clean your gown??:

I still haven't..it's still in the bag the way i shoved it in there the day after the wedding.

I feel terrible about it-i have to take care of it soon.

I got mine preserved and cleaned in May right before my honeymoon so about 3 months after marriage.

I'm married 3 months now, and still no desire/motivation to find somewhere to take it, and to pay for the preservation!! So good for you for getting it done, better late than never!!!

I still hate paying $$ for it to be preserved, and then you can't open it or anything afterwards to relive memories either!

What is the preserving process. Why can't I take it out and look at it. Why do we get them preserved? So we can give them to grandkids or something to wear.

just curious, bc I got quoted 200 bucks to do this and I am trying to see the point over just drying it and putting it in a box

I got my done like 3 1/2 weeks later...the stains that I got on the bottom didn't come all the way out..I'm pretty upset about that..Get your but

I am married over 7 months & my dress is still laying on the spare bed where I left it the night of the wedding. I plan on taking it Monday!!!! I just didn't want to part with it!

Mine was dropped off the day after the wedding....it broke my heart to look at it, the entire cathedral train and about 1/2 inch all the way around the bottom were completely black
