well...actually she told me she wants no part of my wedding and doesn't want to be in the 'stupid' bridal party
so now johnny&maur is my one and only MOH!! that's how i wanted it in the first place but felt obligated to add my sister, even though we can't stand each other.
good riddance to her!

honestly, we've NEVER gotten along. even as little kids. we are complete opposites in every way. she was into drugs, drinking, partying, piercings (eyebrow and tongue) and tattoos and i was into...well...school and friends.
i'm pretty conventional, even now. people who know us can't understand how we're related.
i've been trying to call johnny&maur to tell her but she's not answering the phone so she'll probably learn about it from this thread.
i'm honestly not upset by it...kind of relieved actually

Even though I would be so upset if my sister backed out on me...probably because we have a close relationship...I can understand why you feel this way. I'm glad that now your get to have the bridal party you want.

oh wow.
MY sister is one of my BM but not my MOH. MOH is my best friend the person i feel closest too and know will keep me sane through the next year and is responsible.
I love my sister and we're close, but shes still young and shes not as close to me as my MOH, and i couldnt put that kind of responsibility on my sister.
Glad I didnt anyway because shes alread whining about little things lol

If you dont really get along and arent that close and ESPECIALLY if she doesnt want any part of it I think it was a good choice. You dont want people in your BP that arent going to enjoy themselves.

exactly, u wouldn't want anyone who would ruin ur wedding day, even if its ur sister, but if not now i hope things do work out in the future b/c u guys r sisters

OMG carol i just read this.......i don't have my phone on cause i'm at work...what the he**??? I cant believe that. Yikes!!! That's too bad that your sister wants no part of your wedding. My sister and I are different but I couldn't imagine having anyone else be my MOH. It's too bad you all can't get along, she's missing out on a very special relationship.
