I just got engaged!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Christen. I got engaged almost 2 weeks ago. One of my friends raved about this web site when she was planning her wedding almost 2 years ago. I can finally introduce myself and join the fun.
I have to share the story of how he proposed because it was so exciting
Eric handed me a card with a map inside that said 'pack your bags we're going somewhere hot'. He took me to Arkansas (which was 108 degrees that week) where he had 5 days planned, we went to the Botanical Gardens, swam in the Little Falls, went to art galleries and then finally he took me to the Crater of Diamonds State Park where we were covered in dirt mining diamonds. After mining all morning and not finding anything, I got up and saw something sparkling in the dirt I ran over to it and pulled it out of the ground it was a huge diamond paper weight, by the time I turned to him he was down on one knee in the dirt with the ring box in his hand.
I can't wait to start planning!
