I just got home from the doctors...

Totally off topic, but I'm sitting home alone and feeling a little nervous.. needing to chat a little...

So Saturday, I noticed that I couldn't feel my pinky toe. By Sunday I couldn't feel two more... and then yesterday morning when I woke up, I couldn't feel another one. So I thought it was no big deal, but my mother made me go to the drs since it hadn't gone away and it kept spreading.
So I went yesterday and now it's opened a whole can of worms. He ruled out it being a pinched nerve and they did xrays and all that, no break. Great... But he made me come back this morning to have tons of blood drawn and he's hoping that something in my results will lead him somewhere with it. I'm a little nervous, and wondering if it's the beginning of diabetes, which runs in my family. Not that it would be a huge deal if it was, but I start student teaching next week and this couldn't have come at a worse time. And this concludes Erin's pity party.. sorry to vent

If you happen to be taking birth control pills, there is a small chance you can form a blood clot which might be causing this problem. If you are, make sure the doctor considers this.

Yes, be positive...I know a girl at work who has had some problems...tingling feelings, etc...she had to go for lot's of tests but they eventually figured out that she has cists on her thyroid gland...anyway the point is she's fine...and you will be too...

I haven't heard anything yet, but he did say he should know by this evening... hopefully I will get a call today, cause I just want to know something! I'm not a very patient 'patient'.... But I'm behaving...

Hey ladies.. thanks for your thoughts... still no word. They drew more blood last week, and I'm hoping they might find something then. He seems to not be too worried about it, so I'm trying not to be. Thank goodness I can keep myself busy (and crazy! ) with student teaching this semester....

As soon as I know anything, I will definitely post. Sorry for being MIA lately, but school is kicking my azz!

oh Kiddo! I can't believe no word yet but as we always say, no news is good news! Are you feeling better though??? I can imagine how busy you are with the student teaching!!! Definately need to call you this week! I miss ya buddy!!!
