I just got my shoes...I love them, but I have a question

I just got my shoes..and I love them, they are the same shoes that one of the girls posted on here yesterday...anyhoo, I was wondering if any of you girls have done this, I wanted to trim the heel a bit, they are a 2 1/2 inch heel, and are very comfortable, I just want them to be a bit lower so as to be not pushing the height standing next to FH....have any of you done this and if so where?

oooh, that one may be tricky. Wish I had some help for you. If you do decide to do this, I would only suggest using someone recommended. Not the shoes you want someone to mess up!

I know! there is a cobbler in the city that I take most of my shoes too, he has been wrtitten up in all the mags, how bergdorf uses him for all their repairs, I'll see what he has to say, I just wanted to know if anyone has done it already...

Pickles,

It depends on the shoe...the quality of the shoe and the arch of the shoe....I believe if the arch is too high it can't be done. You may be able to get away with 1/2 an inch. GOOD LUCK!!

i was just told this the other day
yes some shoes makers will do it but i think it depends on the shoe

it is so hard to find the right shoe that is not more than 2 inches

I've had that done before. The shoe needs to be pretty high though and the material plays a big part. Make sure you go to someone who is really qualified.

He is in the 53rd street and 5th ave E train station, he is amazing, he has stacks of bergdorf bags packed mile high...I'll bring them to him and see how they look

these are the shoes, someone got them here the other day as well
