by my boss b/c she didn't look at her calendar today. I accepted a meeting for today last week and forgot to tell her and since she doesn't 'look at her calendar diligently' she just noticed it. I mean, I have to accept her meetings and then send an additional email to her telling her that I put something on her calendar????? UGH. I hate her.

That stinks!
Can you add the items to the calendar through a request meeting feature or something? That way she has to accept the appointment to add it to her calendar. We use outlook and I do that for the rare occasions I have to make an appointment for my boss.

I hear ya ... I usually send him an email, put it on his outlook calendar, leave him a VM and WRITE IT OUT for my boss .. and he STILL FORGETS his appointments!

You poor thing. You are a better women than I for being able to handle it. I would not last a day in that kind of environment. My mouth would get me in trouble. Thus, the reason I bartend.

That's ridiculous. I have a secretary who manages my calendar for me, but I LOOK at it. What good is a calendar you don't look at. I live and die by that thing. I take it home with me at night because I can't make any plans without looking at it first.
Its not your fault that your boss is too irresponsible to look at her own darn calendar.

i put appts on my boss's calendar and e-mail her...but good thing she is constantly looking to see what she has going on.
At some point - these people have to take responsibility for their day - you are their assistant not their babysitter!
